M-VIP operates with an external puck actuator and is ideal for all valve indication applications where a reliable open and closed signal is required.

M-VIP has many variants...

The M-VIP Advantage

Designed to meet today's demands, M-VIP has IP68 rated, hermetically sealed reed switches inside body parts made from PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate).

PBT has excellent properties that make it ideally suited to today's industrial environments. Perfect for outdoor use, it will even withstand the rigours of wash down.

Installed in just 5 minutes, M-VIP has no cams or levers to adjust, and once installed, M-VIP will operate for many millions of cycles without the need for adjustment or maintenance.

Until recently actuator position indication and system signals have been restricted to the use of electro-mechanical devices which comprise many parts assembled in some type of box incorporating various switching elements.

This has, by the nature of the design, been difficult to seal against the elements while being expensive to purchase, install and in particular to maintain.
